Visa
In order to visit Russia most foreign nationals require a Russian Federation visa. It can take time for a visa to be issued and so it is important that the application process is begun as early as possible, but not earlier than 3 months prior an expected date of the visit. HSE University will provide an invitation letter to apply for visa upon request.

Kremlin and Red Square

On the Red Square you can marvel at St Basil's Cathedral build in XVI century to mark the 1552 capture of Kazan from Mongol forces. It opens daily from 11.00 to 17.00 and closes on Tuesdays, so you have a good chance to see what’s inside this gorgeous building.
And The Moscow Kremlin State Historical and Cultural Museum and Heritage Site incorporates the Armoury Chamber, monuments of the architectural ensemble of the Cathedral Square, including the Assumption, Archangel and Annunciation cathedrals, the Church of Laying Our Lady's Holy Robe, the Patriarch's Palace with the Twelve Apostles' Church and the Ivan the Great Bell-Tower complex, as well as the exhibition halls in the Assumption Belfry and Patriarch's Palace. Zaryadye

Zaryadye is a new park and cultural centre near the Kremlin and Red Square created by an international team of architects, engineers, landscape designers and other experts. The park features an interactive archaeology museum, a floral greenhouse, installations from leading cultural institutions, and a large open-air amphitheater. 70 meters long River Overlook above the Moscow River opens the best in the city view of the Kremlin and Red Square.
The park is open 24/7 (its pavilions, however, works from 10:00 to 20:00 on Tuesdays till Sundays and from 14:00 to 20:00 on Mondays. Here you can learn more about the park and what it has to offer.
Gorky Park

Gorky Park is the capital’s central park, with more than 40 000 visitors on weekdays and 250 000 on weekends and public holidays. Designed in the 1920s by avant-garde architect Konstantin Melnikov as a piece of communist utopia, these days it showcases the enlightened transformation Moscow has undergone in the recent past. Since 2011 the park has been setting new standards, becoming Russia’s first world-class park and space for recreation, sport, dance and outdoor games.

The State Tretyakov Gallery

Moscow Conservatory

Moscow Conservatory is a series of concert halls and a school rolled into one. It is the second oldest conservatory in Russia after St. Petersburg Conservatory.
